Purpose
To create a better understanding of Cultural Arts with a program of award winning color slides and sample art presented by Gordon Frost.
Groups Served
Audience size and interests have varied widely. Groups served include museum audiences, art clubs, weavers & craft guilds, and private home gatherings. Gordon Frost will tailor his remarks to the interest of his audience. For example, if an art group is being addressed more focus will be on an art perspective such as color, design, and symbolism; if a weavers guild is addressed more will be said about the woven structure of textiles.

Fee
The amount of the honorarium depends on the group being served. Whatever the organization normally pays to an outside speaker is what is suggested. Often the honorarium will include travel expenses. Often two or more groups in a region of the country can be coordinated with Gordon Frost to share travel costs.
More important than the specifics of the honorarium is the organization's earnest interest and enthusiasm for presenting such an event.
Publicity
In order that as many interested people as possible may attend the presentation, publicity material will be sent to the sponsoring group. Color postcard invitations will be printed at Gordon Frost’s expense for the host group’s membership. A press release plus black and white photographs will be provided for the host’s newsletter. Gordon Frost will send a press release and a set of black and white photographs to the local newspaper and cooperate with local radio and television stations in arranging interviews.
Scheduling
Contact Gordon Frost early to help assure your choice of date. Once a date is agreed on, only with written confirmation from both you and Gordon Frost will a date be considered scheduled.
Gordon Frost travels several months each year. While you may contact him by phone, or regular mail, using e-mail or submitting the Slide Show Scheduling Request Form is the best method. Please be patient – he will respond as soon as he can.
Note: if you would like to request more than one slide show program, please complete and submit a separate Slide Show Scheduling Request Form for each additional program you want to schedule.
